DIN is (Director Identification Number) it’s a unique identity number allotted to person who wants to become a director in a company. A Director can obtain DIN in two ways 1. When a Company is incorporated, A person intending to become a director can make application through Spice e-Form at the time of incorporation however, DIN can be allotted to Maximum three Proposed director 2. When there is an existing Company, A proposed director can make an application by filing Form DIR – 3 to the Central Government for the allotment of DIN.
