All documents that are presented to Indian authorities like MCA, banks, GST department, and RBI must be in English. In case your home country’s documents are in a language like French, German, Japanese, Korean, etc., these need to be officially translated into English by a certified translator and then apostilled/ notarized. Indian banks are very particular about this and will not allow any document that is not in English.

Note: This is one of the most common reasons for delays. Plan your translation requirements well in advance.
