Yes, a person can become director in multiple companies subject to the limit mentioned under The Companies Act, 2013. Individual can hold directorship in Maximum 20 companies out of which maximum 10 companies can be public company subject to the exception that Dormant companies are excluded from calculating the maximum no of directorship. Further, for calculating the limit of public companies in which a person can be appointed as director, directorship in private companies that are either holding or subsidiary company of a public company shall be included.
