To become a director, Individuals should have a DIN (Director Identification Number), Digital signature certificate and approval from Board of directors of the proposed company i.e where he is required to become a director. If an Individual seeking appointment is a citizen of a Country sharing land border with India, then he also requires necessary security clearance from the Ministry of Home affairs, Government of India.
